GD

I am working on a brochure and not sure where I'm going with it yet but this is a sample spread, in progress. The body copy is about ethnography, a research method based on observing people in their natural environment rather than in a formal research setting.

day two

I started working on the nursery yesterday, transferring the drawings and doing some re-drawing.
Today I started painting and I hope to finish tomorrow.
Here are some photos.

Love these colors!
I am painting on the two opposite walls which are a very light cream.

baby nursery

Next week I am painting a baby nursery! The theme is jungle animals and the drawings are based on the bed spread for the crib so that they will match. I am painting on two walls with a window on each.

Here is an image of some of the animals.

Or check out this link to the Babies R Us site for more images.

I am so happy and thankful that my mom could borrow a projector from work so that I can easily enlarge the drawings and transfer them on the wall.
I will post progress when I get started next week!

windows

18" x 18"
oil

While out on a photographing adventure I came across a simple building with great character. I assume that a storm swept through the building and forced all of the windows out, shattering the glass and leaving the shards on the sidewalk below.
